Life is messy. Living and Dying, Laughing and Crying, Sinning and Living Righteous lives, Learning and Instructing, Loving Friends and Enemies alike (or at least attempting to). God calls us to live among people accompanied by their messes and to make the world a better place through our living. Join me as I work to clear away my mess. Everyone's welcome because we all have messes. Some are just more obvious than others.
Now, I have been couponing for about a month and a half. When I began my adventure, I was not at all convinced that I could do any better with coupons than without at an actual grocery store. I understood how I could make Walgreens or CVS work, but not a grocery store.
I have by no means arrived, but this week was a VERY fruitful week at the store. I bought all this

for $62. I did buy a lot of sides, mostly Unilever products for which I had coupons and toward which I am working to get a rebate. I went into Shop and Save and used a coupon from my
coupon book for $5 off a $50 gift card. I had my shopping list all ready and planned. I bought $51 worth of items using the $10 discount and coupons and paid $32.
I headed out later to a different Shop and Save and purchased another $58, but with the $10 off and coupons, I paid $35. I finished out my gift card and paid $17 in cash. $17 and my $45 for the gift card comes to a total of $62. Not bad.
